FAQ

How long does my refund take?

Generally speaking the IRS guidance is 21 calendar days from the date your file was accepted by the IRS, as long as there were no other issues with your return.

I got a letter from the IRS about my return, what do I do?

A. From time to time the IRS will decide to ask for extra verification, usually in the form of a letter. If you receive a letter from the IRS, simply contact us and give us a copy of the letter and we will help you give the IRS whatever they need to move your refund forward.

B. More often than not, the verification letter is concerning a state return. When looking at a letter if it says the state's department of revenue then they are asking about your state tax return. Either way simply send us the letter and we will help you move forward to get your state return

Why is my refund taking longer than expected?

For many early filers that were accepted before February 1st, our guidance was 10 business days from the date of acceptance. However on the 30th of January the IRS released new guidance, saying anybody that received the earned income credit on their return would not be funded until February 27th.  So what that means is whether you filed on January 18th or February 2nd your funding date is still February 27th based on IRS new guidance.

Why is my routing and account number different than what I gave?

For your protection all routing and account numbers are scrambled so that no one can be in possession of your bank info.  In addition if you look closely at the account number you will see your SS# embedded in the account number boxes.   Rest assured your actual routing and account number was e-filed with the IRS at the time of submission. If you would like confirmation of the account and routing info we have on file please contact us we'll be happy to confirm.

I was told you're on the IRS website but I can't find it.
